    Praise God
Sir, I am searching for a tract need to distribute to my relatives while going on vacation. They are unaware of real salvation through Jesus Christ even though they are christians by name. It’s a good tract, but I have a feeling that at the end it shows Jesus Christ had given the ransom to satan to redeem us.
Sir, you are a great man of God, if I am wrong, please correct me.

      Dear brother,
Thanks for your mail concerning the tract.
What you said is a matter of concern… May be, we will think that the price Jesus paid to Satan… That is a drawback for this story. We cannot say that Jesus made a deal with Satan. However, He paid a price… His own blood! The bird story is only a story or parable, which we cannot take it in all details… A normal reader is not very much concerned about the details, and not concerned about the “theology” behind it. The fact is clear, that… We sold ourselves to Satan…. and to redeem us, he needed to pay the price!

If Satan “snatched” us from God’s hands, Jesus could have redeem us by “snatching” us from the hands of Satan… However, that was not the truth… We sold ourselves to Satan…. So, Jesus had to pay a “ransom price” for me… may be not in the hands of Satan, but to where, we cannot say- as we pay money to the court to redeem somebody from a “fraud check” case… Price is paid and that is a fact… And as you know, the tract we print is to give people simple truths and not to discuss theological issues! Even in the parable of Jesus,

Luk 18:1 And he told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart.
Luk 18:2 He said, “In a certain city there was a judge who neither feared God nor respected man.
Luk 18:3 And there was a widow in that city who kept coming to him and saying, ‘Give me justice against my adversary.’
Luk 18:4 For a while he refused, but afterward he said to himself, ‘Though I neither fear God nor respect man,
Luk 18:5 yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will give her justice, so that she will not beat me down by her continual coming.'”
Luk 18:6 And the Lord said, “Hear what the unrighteous judge says.
Luk 18:7 And will not God give justice to his elect, who cry to him day and night? Will he delay long over them?
Here, God is not like that Judge, but it is only a parable to exhort us to be persistent in our prayer… likewise, our story tells only about the great price Jesus paid to redeem us….

      Thank you
